What is Kinesiology
I practise Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology (EMK), a specialised form of kinesiology that explores the connection between emotions, beliefs, energy and the body.
Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology (EMK) is a gentle, holistic approach that aims to identify and release stress that may be stored in the body.
Using gentle muscle testing, we work with your body's natural feedback system to explore where emotional stress, limiting beliefs or energetic imbalances may be affecting your overall wellbeing. Rather than focusing on symptoms alone, EMK looks at the whole person—recognising the connection between the mind, body, emotions and energy.
I often describe the body as a giant filing cabinet.
Throughout our lives, we store every experience—the joyful moments, the challenges, the stresses and the emotions we haven't fully processed. Over time, those "files" can begin to accumulate, leaving us feeling overwhelmed, emotionally stuck or disconnected from ourselves.
EMK helps us gently identify which "files" your body is ready to revisit and support, allowing your nervous system to let go of stress and return to a sense of balance. Your body knows, and each session is guided by what it needs in that moment.
No two sessions are ever the same. Every balance is personalised to you and may incorporate supportive techniques and remedies such as Emotional Stress Release (ESR) , acupressure points, energy balancing, sound, colour therapy, therapeutic essential oils, crystals, flower essence, or Reiki, depending on what your body indicates.
Many people leave their sessions feeling lighter, calmer, more grounded and with a much greater sense of clarity.
EMK may support people experiencing:
• Stress and anxiety
• Feeling overwhelmed or emotionally stuck
• Burnout or low energy
• Difficulty relaxing or sleeping
• Emotional wellbeing
• Nervous system regulation
• Life transitions
• Physical tension or discomfort
• Hormonal changes
Grief, anger or emotional overwhelm
• Headaches and migraines
EMK is a complementary therapy designed to support your overall wellbeing and is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. If you have a medical condition or ongoing health concerns, I encourage you to continue working with your healthcare professional.
